Where can you take IELTS in Senegal?
We are pleased to announce that from 21 December 2025, all UKVI IELTS and all IELTS in Dakar, will be delivered on computer only, providing a faster, more efficient and streamlined testing experience.
UKVI IELTS and IELTS on computer offer the same test format, questions and scoring as the paper-based version. UKVI IELTS and IELTS on computer also provide significant benefits to test takers at no additional cost:
1. Faster results: Typically receive your results in 1-2 days
2. Faster booking: Book your test as late as one day before registration closes
3. More test dates: More choice and flexibility for you
4. One Skill Retake: Retake just one skill, not the whole test, if you need to improve your score
We offer a range of convenient test dates in the British Council official IELTS test centre in Dakar. You can take your IELTS test on a computer. You will need to come to a test centre to sit your test. Find out more.
